Kate Miller-Corcoran is the Food as Medicine Coordinator for the Rural Health Network of South Central New York and President of the Broome County Public Library Board of Trustees. Kate works with community partners and program participants to get produce from local farms into the hands of community members, creating a healthy, vibrant future for all. Kate grew up rurally on her family’s farm in Windsor, NY. Her work as a CSA/Farm Share Manager gave her hands-on experience with community food systems, sustainable agriculture, and how barriers to fresh food affect health outcomes. Kate also serves as the President of the Broome County Public Library Board of Trustees, where she helped spearhead the Farm to Library Program.
