Amanda Boczar, Project Director, is the Associate Director for Digital Initiatives at the University of South Florida Libraries. Boczar is a trained historian with a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, an MLIS from USF, and over a decade of experience developing large-scale Digital Humanities projects. Her areas of expertise include digital pedagogy, archival instruction, born digital archiving, AI, and accessibility in libraries. Her research examines the intersections of these fields, as well as the role of climate education in libraries. Boczar has received grants to support her work on open educational resources and climate discourse in libraries from the American Library Association (2022-2023) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (2023-2025) in partnership with CLIR.
